Dr Katrin Jahn established the German Veterinary Clinic in 2008 and, at the time, was the first veterinary clinic in Khalifa City A, Abu Dhabi. We believe every pet is an individual and deserves to be treated with compassion, respect and professionalism.

We have a team of highly skilled doctors who each have their area of particular interest added to which; not only does Dr Katrin have a prestigious RCVS Certificate in Veterinary Anesthesia and Pain Relief, but she is also the only qualified Veterinary Behaviour Medicine practitioner in the Middle East.

Many of our patients and their pet parents have known us for over ten years. We have built a reputation for delivering compassionate veterinary care and excellent customer service.

We see ourselves as an integral part of the pet-loving local community. We support initiatives which help our local communities of street cats.

We are proud to be the Middle East’s first Gold Standard Cat-Friendly Clinic (since 2014) and the first Fear Free Certified veterinary team (since 2019).
